Minute Butterscotch Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix brown sugar, shortening, milk and salt in saucepan.
    Stir over low heat until shortening melts.
    Bring to a full, rolling boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil for 1 minute (220\u00b0).
    Remove from heat and beat until lukewarm (120\u00b0).
    Stir in vanilla.
    Continue beating until a smooth spreading consistency.
