Mediterranean Chicken With Artichokes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    3 green onions, sliced (including tops)
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 medium cloves garlic, minced
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    3/4 c. dry white wine
    1/2 c. pitted black olives, sliced
    1 tsp. dried basil leaves
    1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 lb. chicken parts (such as breasts, drumsticks or thighs)
    1 (6 oz.) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In medium bowl, combine mushrooms, onions, oil, garlic, tomato sauce
    and\tpaste.\tAdd
    wine,
    olives, basil, oregano, salt and pepper.
    Stir to mix ingredients.
    Remove and discard skin from chicken
    parts.
    Place chicken in 2-quart microwave safe rectangular
    dish.\tArrange chicken so that meatier areas are toward outside
    of\tdish (if using breasts, turn them bone side up).
    Pour\ttomato\tmixture
    over
    chicken and cover dish lightly with wax
    paper.
    Microwave
    on
    High 10 minutes. Turn each piece of\tchicken over.
    Spoon sauce over chicken.
    Cover with waxed paper
    and\tmicrowave
    on
    High
    10
    to 12 minutes. Place artichoke
    hearts in baking dish, spacing among chicken. Sprinkle cheese over
    all.
    Cover
    with
    waxed
    paper
    and let stand 5 minutes.
    If
    reheating
    is
    necessary,
    microwave on High 2 minutes.
    Serves 4.
