Jesse Stuart'S Cheese Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick butter
3 stalks celery, chopped, including leaves
3 (10 3/4 oz.) cans chicken broth
3 grated onions
3 grated carrots
1 oz. (3 slices) American cheese
8 oz. sour cream
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except cheese.
Stir in chopped parsley, coarse pepper and bottled hot sauce to taste.
Simmer 30 minutes. Drop in cheese and stir until it melts.
Serves 10 to 12 people.
