Cheesy Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped potatoes
1 c. chopped carrots
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
4 Tbsp. oleo or butter
3 c. chicken stock
dash of white pepper
2 c. milk
1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
3 c. (12 oz.) shredded processed sharp American cheese
Preparation
-
Cook vegetables (except parsley) in butter and chicken stock for 30 minutes.
Blend together milk and flour.
Add to cooked vegetables and cook until thickened.
Add cheese, pepper and parsley.
Stir until cheese melts.
Serves 6 to 8.
