Italian Almond Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 oz. unpeeled almonds (approximately 2 c.)
    1 to 1 1/3 c. granulated sugar
    8 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. or less salt
    peel of 1 lemon (zest with white pith)
    6 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    You will need an 8 or 9-inch spring-form pan, buttered.
