Rum Or Bourbon Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
1 c. nuts, chopped (pecans)
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. rum or bourbon
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Crush wafers fine.
Mix with chopped nuts, cocoa, corn syrup and rum until mixture forms soft paste.
Dust palms of hands with confectioners sugar.
Shape paste into balls about the size of a walnut.
Set aside one hour, then roll in sugar.
Store in an airtight container.
Makes about 30 balls.
