Cream Of Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped ripe tomatoes
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 small bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    In a saucepan, simmer tomatoes, onion, bay leaf, sugar and 1/2 teaspoon salt for 10 minutes.
    Put through food mill and set aside.
    In same saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
    Add milk.
    Cook and stir until thickened.
    Slowly stir in tomato mixture.
