Skillet Pork And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 oz. lean pork chops
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. sliced onion
1 garlic clove, minced
2 c. rinsed, drained sauerkraut
1 c. apple juice
1 tsp. caraway seed
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 small apple, cored and sliced
Preparation

Broil chops on preheated broiler 4 inches from heat 2 minutes on each side.
Heat oil in large skillet.
Add onion and garlic. Cook over medium heat until softened.
Add 1/4 cup water and remaining ingredients except apple.
Top with chops and simmer, covered, on low heat about 1 hour or until chops are tender.
Then stir in apple slices and simmer about 3 minutes.
Serves 2.
