Nutty Cracker Delights - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    42 Club crackers (2 1/2 x 1-inch)
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Place crackers in a single layer in a foil-lined 15 x 10-inch baking pan.
    In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
    Add sugar; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from the heat. Add vanilla.
    Pour evenly over crackers; sprinkle with nuts.
