Shaker Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large lemons, sliced thin (leave rind on)
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 pie crust
Preparation
    Remove seeds from lemons.
    Mix lemons with sugar and let stand overnight.
    Add beaten eggs and stir.
    Pour into pie shell and bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Lower heat to 375\u00b0 and bake for 20 minutes.
    The Shaker recipe calls for a top crust, but this is optional.
