Hot Fudge Sundae Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/4 c. granulated sugar, divided into 3/4 c. and 1/2 c.
1 c. flour
7 Tbsp. Hershey cocoa, divided in 3 Tbsp. and 4 Tbsp.
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. hot water
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In medium bowl, combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Blend in milk, melted butter and vanilla.
Beat until smooth.
Pour batter into an 8 or 9-inch baking pan.
