Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
2 c. pecan halves
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large saucepan.
Cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add pecans and continue cooking 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Place pecans individually on wax paper.
Cool completely.
Yields 2 cups.
