Peach Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    6 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat eggs until fluffy.
    Add sugar, beating well.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Combine milk, shortening and extracts. Add to egg mixture alternately with flour.
    Spread batter into a greased 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Arrange 4 cups sliced peaches on top of batter.
    Sprinkle with mixture of 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
