Chestnut Cream Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. chestnuts
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. cream
4 Tbsp. favorite liqueur or syrup (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cut chestnuts in
half;
place in medium hot oven until shells and inner\tbrown
skins
peel
off
easily.
Peel\tthe chestnuts and put
in
enough
water\tto cover.
Add sugar and salt; boil until chestnuts are very tender.
Remove from heat; drain and mash or puree in blender with remaining ingredients. Can be garnished with whipped cream, fruit, etc.
Serves 6.
