Texas Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. diced, peeled potatoes
1/2 finely chopped onions
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. chopped pimento
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. grated American cheese
2 c. medium white sauce
bread or cracker crumbs
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Cover potatoes, onions and salt with water.
Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
Drain.
Add pimento and place in a greased 8-inch baking dish.
Add pepper and cheese to white sauce and pour over potatoes.
Top with crumbs and dot with butter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
Serves 6.
