Apple Butter Stack Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
6 c. plain flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 qt. homemade apple butter (I prefer what Elizabeth Chapel makes)
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs and beat well. Add flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon. Then add buttermilk and vanilla. Mix well. This will be very thick and resemble cookie dough. Grease 8 cake pans. I used Pam spray and made 4 layers at a time. You can use either 8 or 9-inch pans. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and then pat it into the pans.
