Ingredients

1 unbaked pie shell
3 to 4 large baking apples
1/2 c. sugar (for filling)
2 Tbsp. flour (for filling)
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar (for topping; 1/4 c. brown sugar and 1/4 c. white sugar)
1/2 c. margarine
Preparation

Make pie shell using your own recipe.
Pare, core and quarter apples, then halve each quarter.
You should have about 7 cups of apples.
Place in a large bowl.
