German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 lbs. potatoes, cooked, peeled, and sliced
    1 lb. bacon
    2 C. celery, chopped
    1 C. onion, chopped
    1/2 C. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    cornstarch
Preparation
    Fry bacon till crisp.
    Chop into small bits.
    Add some of bacon grease to potatoes.
    Saute onion, celery in remaining grease.
    Then mix with potatoes and bacon.
    Add water to skillet with vinegar and sugar.
    Don't make it too sweet!
    Simmer for a few minutes. Add a bit of cornstarch to thicken.
    Combine with potato mixture and stir.
