Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake yeast
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg, well beaten
    7 c. sifted flour
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Crumble yeast; add sugar, salt and water.
    Beat in egg.
    Add 1/2 of the flour and beat.
    Add 1/2 of the butter and the other 1/2 flour.
    Let rise to double original size.
    Punch down, cover and place in refrigerator.
    Dough may be used as needed for rolls. Keeps about a week.
