Ingredients

2 lb. cabbage, shredded
2 c. boiling water
1/4 lb. bacon, diced
1/2 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cook cabbage in boiling water until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain.
Cook bacon until crisp.
Stir in vinegar, sugar and salt. Heat and pour over cabbage.
Serve.
