Sun Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    small cucumbers
    1 or 2 buttons garlic
    sprigs of dill
    1/4 tsp. powdered alum
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Pack cukes in jars with all other items, except vinegar and water.
    Bring vinegar and water to a boil.
    Pour over cukes within 1/2 inch of top.
    Seal and set in the sun for 7 to 10 days.
    Don't open until 5 weeks later.
