Dark Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. raisins
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
??? c. butter
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 lb. mixed fruit
1 c. nut meats
Preparation

Mix first four ingredients together.
Bring to a boil.
Let cool.
Mix altogether.
Spread into 2 loaf pans, greased.
Bake slowly at 275\u00b0 for 2 hours.
