Refrigerator Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. all-bran flakes
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. Crisco
scant cup sugar
2 eggs
1 pt. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 c. Kellogg's Bran
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Mix all-bran and boiling water.
Let stand.
Cream Crisco, sugar, eggs and buttermilk.
Add bran mixture.
Add flour, Kellogg's Bran, salt and soda.
Bake in greased muffin pans at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
