Papa John'S Portuguese Malasadas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. cream
    1/4 melted butter
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 cake yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water and 1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix together dry ingredients.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add cream, butter, flavorings and yeast.
    Allow dough to rise, work down and allow to rise a second time.
    Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
