Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    4 to 5 medium bananas, mashed
    2 lemons (juice of the lemons)
    1 large can unsweetened pineapple juice
    1 large can unsweetened orange juice
    1 large pkg. Jell-O (cherry, lemon, lime, etc.)
    ginger ale
Preparation
    Mix water and sugar together in a large pan.
    Heat until sugar is dissolved; set aside to cool.
    In a large container, mix pineapple, orange and lemon juices; add cooled sugar water mixture to Jell-O (dry); mix well.
    Add bananas (that have been mashed thoroughly); mix well and freeze until ready to use.
