Overnight Caramel French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    12 slices sandwich bread
    6 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine sugar, butter and syrup in small saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Pour syrup mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Place 6 slices of bread on top of syrup.
    Top with remaining 6 slices of bread.
