Pumpkin Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. pumpkin pie filling
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. pie spice (cinnamon and nutmeg)
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 Tbsp. melted margarine
confectioners sugar or maple syrup
Preparation

Beat egg, sugar and salt until fluffy.
Blend in pumpkin. Sift together the dry ingredients.
Fold into egg mixture.
Add margarine and mix well.
Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls into greased frying pan.
Turn when golden, watching carefully. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Can be served with dinner or as a dessert.
