Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. water
    juice of 6 lemons
    juice of 2 oranges
    1 c. fresh mint leaves
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water to form syrup.
    Cool.
    Add juice of lemons and oranges.
    Pour mixture over mint leaves and let stand one hour.
    Strain into large pitcher.
    Refrigerate overnight. Serve over crushed ice.
    Garnish with cherry or fresh mint leaves. Makes one quart.
