Ham Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 carrots, diced
    4 stalks celery, diced
    1 onion, diced
    4 large potatoes
    5 c. water
    2 to 3 c. chopped ham
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    6 Tbsp. flour
    2 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook vegetables until tender and blend flour into milk. Simmer 10 minutes.
    Garnish with paprika and parsley.
    Add salt to taste.
    Serve with garlic bread and tossed salad.
