Shirley Mckenzie'S Breakfast Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 thin slices bread, buttered
    8 slices cheese
    1 lb. loose sausage, browned
    6 eggs, beaten
    3 c. milk
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Place 4 slices of bread, butter side down, in oblong baking dish.
    Place a slice of cheese on each piece.
    Top cheese with the cooked sausage.
    Beat the eggs, milk and salt together.
    Place remaining 4 bread slices, butter side up, over the sausage.
    Pour eggs over all.
    Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
