Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    6 eggs, separated
    3 c. cake flour or all purpose
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream or 8 oz. cream cheese
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
    1/4 tsp. almond
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add sour cream.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add flavorings.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into mixture. Pour into well-greased and floured pans (Baker's Joy).
    Bake in preheated oven at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes 15 to 20 servings.
