Layered Pea Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, chopped
1/2 c. chopped green onions
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1 can sliced water chestnuts, chopped
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation

Layer first 6 ingredients in a salad bowl in the order given (i.e. lettuce, green onions, celery, green peppers, water chestnuts and frozen peas).
Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise over the peas. (Two cups is generally a bit much.)
