German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium size potatoes
    6 slices bacon
    1 small onion
    3 hard-boiled eggs
    1 small green pepper
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Boil potatoes with the skins on; cool, peel and slice.
    Dice bacon, onion and green pepper.
    Fry bacon pieces in a skillet. Saute onion and green pepper with bacon.
    Dice eggs; add to potatoes.
    Mix vinegar, sugar and 2 teaspoons salt with 1/2 cup water.
    Add to bacon-onion-pepper mixture; heat to a boil.
    Pour over potatoes and eggs.
    Mix well; serve immediately.
