Hot Pasta And Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
    2 to 3 dashes hot pepper sauce
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 lb. asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
    salt to taste
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 fresh shredded Parmesan
    1 lb. mostaccioli or penne rigate pasta, cooked and drained
Preparation
    In a skillet, cook garlic, pepper flakes and hot pepper sauce in oil and butter for 2 minutes.
    Add asparagus, salt and pepper; saute until asparagus is crisp-tender, about 10 minutes.
    Add most Parmesan cheese; mix well.
    Pour over hot pasta and toss to coat. Sprinkle with a little more Parmesan.
    Serve immediately.
    Serves 6 to 8 main course or 10 to 15 side dish.
