Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond
Preparation
    Sift flour, measure and sift two times.
    Cream margarine and Crisco.
    Add sugar and cream well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add flour and milk alternately.
    Begin with flour and end with flour.
    Add flavoring.
    Beat at slow speed. Bake in greased tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Start in cold oven.
    This does not use baking powder.
    May use 2 teaspoons vanilla instead of almond.
