Dutch Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Bisquick mix
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 medium apples
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Combine Bisquick mix and sugar.
    Blend eggs and milk with shortening and vanilla.
    Add liquid all at once to dry ingredients. Mix only until dampened.
    Pour into greased wax paper lined 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Peel apples and slice thin.
    Place over top of batter in pan.
