Jacob'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    4 c. plain flour
    1 lb. oleo
    6 eggs
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring
Preparation
    Beat sugar and butter and a little more milk and flour gradually. Add vanilla. Bake in cold oven at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours.
