Barbara'S Gourmet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. shredded hash browns, at room temperature
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. butter
    1/3 c. chopped green onion
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Over low heat, melt butter.
    Add cheese; let melt.
    Add sour cream, green onions, salt and pepper.
    Fold in potatoes.
    Grease a 2-quart casserole and add potato mixture.
    Dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
    Serves 6 to 8.
