Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. warm milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 to 6 slices dried bread
Preparation
    Beat the eggs and sugar until thickened.
    Add salt, warm milk and vanilla.
    Pour this mixture over the dried bread that has been crumbled up and placed in a buttered casserole.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and raisins, if desired.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes until thick in the middle.
    Serve with the Vanilla Sauce as a topping.
