Pommes Frites - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. baking potatoes, peeled and cut in French fries
4 c. vegetable oil (for deep-frying)
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preparation

In a heavy, deep pot or an electric fryer, heat the oil to 360\u00b0. Add the potatoes in batches and fry until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Makes 4 servings.
