Archibald'S Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 medium Vidalia onions
    4 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 to 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Slice onions into rings and saute with butter until clear and soft.
    In 9-inch casserole, layer 1/3 of soup, then onions, then cheese, making 3 layers.
    Spread cracker crumbs on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes, until browned.
