Cranberry Conserve - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. margarine or butter
    2 tsp. vinegar
    2 large onions, coarsely chopped
    4 c. cranberries
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/4 c. apple cider or apple juice
    1/4 tsp. ground allspice
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    3 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. toasted broken pecans
Preparation
    In a large skillet cook and stir brown sugar, margarine or butter and vinegar over medium heat for 1 or 2 minutes.
    Add onions.
    Cook, uncovered, over low heat for 10 to 12 minutes or until onions are glazed and tender, stirring often.
    Set aside.
