Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large bell pepper, sliced
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 small clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 can tomato soup
    1/3 c. water
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    dash of Tabasco sauce
    1 lb. shrimp, cooked and cleaned or 2 (6 oz.) cans drained
    3 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Cook green bell pepper slices, onion and garlic in shortening in covered skillet over low heat until tender.
    Stir in soup, water, lemon juice, seasoning and shrimp.
    Cook about 10 minutes. Stir often.
    Serve over rice.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
