Hummingbird Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. vegetable oil
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    10 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    2 c. bananas, mashed
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries, chopped
Preparation
    Combine sugar with all other dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
    Add eggs and oil.
    Stir until moist; do not beat.
    Stir in vanilla, pineapple, nuts, bananas and cherries. Spoon into three 9-inch cake pans (or tube pan) which has been greased and floured.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes for 3 layers or 1 hour for tube pan.
    Use Cream Cheese Frosting.
