Poppy Seed Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    graham cracker crust
    3 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg yolks
    1/4 c. poppy seed
    5 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients (except crust).
    Cook until thick.
    Pour over crust.
    Beat 4 egg whites, stiff.
    Add 8 teaspoons sugar, two at a time.
    Spread over filling.
    Bake until egg whites are brown.
