Oatmeal Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 quick cooking oats
1 c M & M miniature bits
1/2 c all purpose flour
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 butter or margarine (melted)
1 pkg fudge brownie mix
Preparation

In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients; mix well, set aside 1 c for topping.
Pat the remaining mixture into a greased 15x10x1 baking pan.
Prepare brownie batter according to package directions.
Spread over the crust.
Sprinkle with the reserved oat mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack.
Cut into bars.
Yields 5 dozen.
