Decorator'S Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. powdered sugar
5 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 egg white, slightly beaten
Preparation

Sift sugar, cornstarch and salt.
In mixing bowl, cream the shortening.
By hand, slowly add sugar mixture.
Blend to very fine crumbs. Stir in egg white. Do not beat air into mixture.
If too stiff for even piping, add 1/2 teaspoon water.
Store tightly covered.
Makes 2 1/2 cups.
