Sand Tarts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. sugar (4 c.)
1 1/4 lb. butter (1/2 and 1/2, if desired)
4 eggs
2 lb. flour (8 c.)
Preparation

Mix sugar and butter in mixer until fluffy.
Add eggs and continue to beat.
Add flour, a cup at a time.
Mix until mixer won't mix anymore.
Then add remaining flour by mixing with your hands.
Roll in logs.
Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
Cut log in sections and roll as thin as possible on floured surface. Cut in desired shapes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes.
