Do Ahead Breakfast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. breakfast sausage (or hot and spicy sausage)
    12 slices bread
    9 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk (approximately)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
    mushrooms, bell peppers, onions (optional)
    1 loaf French bread
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. sugar, divided
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    cinnamon
    powdered sugar
    3 c. (1 lb.) strawberries, stemmed and sliced
    1/2 tsp. lemon zest
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    12 slices cinnamon bread
    1 pt. (16 oz.) half and half or light cream
    4 large eggs
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. grated orange peel (optional)
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    powdered sugar (used for garnish only)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Lightly grease a 13 x 9 baking pan. Arrange bread slices in two layers.
