Chalupas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. pork roast
1 lb. pinto beans
2 cloves chopped garlic
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
2 small cans chopped green chilies
1 Tbsp. salt or to taste
Preparation

Put all ingredients in large pan and cover with water.
Cook, covered, over low heat.
Add water as needed.
After approximately 6 hours, take bones out of meat and break meat up.
Then cook with lid off into thick mixture for 1 to 2 hours.
Serve over corn chips and add the following as desired:
grated cheese, chopped onion, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced avocados and hot salsa.
Serves 12 to 14.
